More than you’d ever want to know about Kyle
I’m a 48 year old pastor of a Vineyard church. I have a wife, 4 kids, root for Texas Tech, and live among bulldogs in Athens, GA. It’s a good place to be, and life is rich. I also work as a mechanical engineer, so I’m a very busy man. I’m a complete hypocrite whenever I teach on practicing simplicity as a spiritual discipline . . .

Hi Kyle. I just went to my wordpress blog (currently defunct… my current thoughts are found at hopecaptive.blogspot.com) to consider re-starting my WP in the new year. Sitting here, I decided to browse around a bit, so I hit the little arrow on the upper right hand side of my screen. And I was sent to your blog, right off the bat. What first caught my eye was the title… Wow. What are the odds? I got sent to the site of another (cool-sounding) Christian. Then I read your post about fountain pens. LOVE IT! A great way to look at it too. I was just listening to an article on NPR about bottled water… and how it takes three liters of water to make the plastic to hold one liter of water. EEEks.
Anyhow. Then I read your ‘here at the Vineyard’ line. What?! HOLD ON! Vineyard??
Well, dear friend, odds or Someone much cooler than odds, is surely giggling with me. As it is, I am sitting here on my computer, while we wait for kinship to start. We are church-planters in Waterville, Maine. We just celebrated our third birthday this past Sunday.
So, that was a really long way to say ‘hi’ from another Vineyard Churchplanter. It was so cool to bump into you here.
God bless you and your family and church. Have a tremendous holiday season!
